A.Unfortunately, we do not take reservations at our Hachioji Ramen, Daikokuya Little Tokyo and Daikokuya Monterey Park locations. However, we do take reservations of 5 or more at our Daikokuya El Monte location.
We believe that by enforcing a first come first serve system, we are being respectful to the people that have physically been waiting in line and also keep the flow of tables going resulting in less wait times.
(The Daikokuya Sawtelle location takes reservations on Yelp only.)
All of the other store locations not mentioned above will gladly take all reservations
*Daikokuya El Monte allows outside cakes and desserts for birthday parties and celebrations with prior reservation/notice only. *

A.Our Daikokuya Little Tokyo location and Daikokuya Monterey Park locations do not offer to-go/take-out. Our Hachioji Restaurant location takes to-go/take-out orders in store only.
(The Daikokuya Sawtelle location accepts to-go/take-out orders via online and in store.)
All of the other stores not mentioned above will take to-go/take-out orders.

A.We currently do not have any nutritional facts/ info on our menu items. We would like to incorporate them in the near future but it is a very involved process so we are working on them right now.

A. This is a hard question to answer since there is no simple answer to this question. To simply put it, NO, Daikokuya does not purposely put any MSG into their food. However, some of the food that our food suppliers give us may already contain MSG. MSG is widely used in many foods and even occurs naturally in some vegetables so it is hard to avoid MSG 100%. Some restaurants may claim ‘No MSG’, but this is not always accurate. MSG is also widely used in most fast-food chains, processed food, snack foods, etc.
Daikokuya does not condone the use of MSG in our foods but we cannot guarantee that there is none at all in out food.

A.All of the Daikokuya Ramen stores have a standardized Grand Menu with all of the same foods served at all of the locations. However, some stores have additional special or seasonal menu items also incorporated into their menus. Make sure to go check out the different stores for some limited-edition items!

A.All of the items on the grand menu should taste the same however a slight difference in taste appears due to the difference in water type used when making the broth.
We are currently doing our best at the central kitchen to make sure all of the ramen have the same quality and taste across all of our stores.
(The water used at all locations is safe, filtered water)

A.Yes! We do have vegan and vegetarian options on the menu.
